Interest rates from the Bank of England are used on this site for various reasons to enhance insights, as well as to provide a simple dashboard for easy reference.
The dataset for interest rates is small for a change! The data can be found on this link
https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/boeapps/database/Bank-Rate.asp
The data can be downloaded in CSV or Excel format; either is acceptable, depending on the purpose.
A simple dataset of:
Date changed
Rate
Interest rates are determined at the Monetary Policy Committee Meeting, which takes place every 6 weeks. There are usually 8 meetings each year.
