New Crime Data Added for England and Wales

To provide a more detailed view of specific properties when searching I have added a new crime panel to provide insight into crime levels.

Crime data by postcode and area has been added in response to frequent requests. These figures are best used to understand trends rather than define places. Crime is present everywhere, and for most residents, visible impact remains limited.

When searching for a specific property on the site, you will now see a new panel like the one below.

The panel provides specific details for the postcode, or within around 500m of it.  The panel shows the change Year-on-year, along with more specific details on what is changing the most and a breakdown of each crime category measured against the national average.

In addition, I have added a new Crime Insights section that provides the option to look beyond postcode to a national level and then into regional areas as show below as an example.  The insights section contains a lot of detail.

This hopefully covers off requests to provide this level of detail to support property research.

If you have any questions, please open a ticket.

I am the owner of this site. If there is anything wrong, it's on me! If you want to get in touch, please email me at [email protected]. The site has grown so quickly, I honestly didnt expect the interest or the support, so thank you to everyone who has dropped me a line. More is coming, and I am spending time making it simpler, easier to understand, and also updating it regularly.
