For April 2026, a total of 14,625 new sales have been added, along with several corrections for previous months.  I apologise for the delay, although it's not on me; the data only became available today :)

Apologies to anyone who visited the site after the update; for the last two hours, the site has been virtually non-functional, that is on me.  When updating the Land Registry data, the steps are easy enough.

1. Empty the table of all data
2. Disable all indexes 
3. Import the new data, 5.7GB of data
4. Enable all indexes

The reason for step 2 is that the data would take a couple of hours to import with indexes enabled; with them disabled, it takes just a few minutes.  But once the data is imported, you must enable all the indexes; it takes a while but is still way faster than not disabling them first.  I forgot to do step 4!  In doing so, every query was unindexed, and it brought the site down because of the sheer pressure on a 16-core CPU.  This is just a note to learn from my mistake! :)
