The new property search feature aims to make it easier and simpler to browse property sales by zooming in on a map.  Easier than always needing to know a postcode or other specific address part, and get a more visual view of what has sold in a specific area.

As shown below, the map displays each sale as a dot, green for Category A and red for Category B.  As a reminder, an explanation of this can be found here.

I am sure this is a useful new feature for many.
