Your chance to influence change on this site
Over the last couple of weeks, I have been thinking about what the roadmap looks like for this site in 2026. This is your chance to be a part of that.
For the last couple of weeks, my trusty Kindle Scribe and I have been sketching out a game plan for PropertyResearch.uk in 2026, and it looks quite full. It feels odd needing to have a plan for the year ahead, but as I am discovering, January is already gone, and I am already behind on some things. Largely because I am without a plan!
My thought process
It's not all about filling the site with more and more data. That is part of it for sure. There is new data out there that would be useful, whether it's new insights or simply new tables that, when joined, deliver more useful insights. But with all new data added, it means;
- Coding a new section of the site for visitors
- Adding a new admin section to manage the data
- Adding data to a new table or tables
- maintaining that new data on a monthly or quarterly basis
It all takes time and effort, so when considering whether something new should be added, I always ask myself;
- Is the new data or information I am adding providing a meaningful benefit to visitors?
- Does it add new insights/context to existing parts of the site?
- If it does not offer new insights/context to existing parts of the site, does it add something meaningful on its own?
If the overwhelming answer is yes, then great, add it. Otherwise, no, leave it, for now at least.
Your opportunity to change my mind
So, with my plan in draft, I am always aware that I am planning with my thoughts in mind, and it's always important to appreciate that is not always what others may want or consider as important.
I am therefore asking for visitors' thoughts on what would be beneficial before I finalise my plan and timeline for the changes I am considering. Forget what I think, which is why I am not telling you what I have planned; just tell me what you think would enhance the site.
For those of you who have emailed, sent a ticket or got in touch through LinkedIn, I have already taken those into account; no need to let me know again.
I would prefer you open a ticket after logging into the site, but you can get in touch via LinkedIn. I am also trying to centralise my social links contact, WhatsApp seems to be the most common so you can get in touch using that if you prefer - WhatsApp
Will give it a couple of weeks, as I have enough to be getting on with in the backend of the site for now, which badly needs to be done, always easy to create a messy backend admin section when only I can see it. I need to fix that before anything else.

I am the owner of this site. If there is anything wrong, it's on me! If you want to get in touch, please email me at [email protected]. The site has grown so quickly, I honestly didnt expect the interest or the support, so thank you to everyone who has dropped me a line. More is coming, and I am spending time making it simpler, easier to understand, and also updating it regularly.
